Please note that on the 1st Sunday of every month (October – June), we will have our monthly Youth & Family Mass. A side note on our Youth & Family Mass schedule, there are two months (February and June) where it will be on the SECOND SUNDAY.

  • WorkCamp (last week of June). Next summer, June 20 – 26, 2020, we will be joining the Diocese of Arlington for Diocesan WorkCamp in Northern Virginia. We will join with nearly  1300 other youth and young adults from our own diocese to help residents keep their homes warmer, safer and drier by our hard work and support!
    Registration will open in October! A WorkCamp Information and Registration Meeting will be held on October 17 for WORKCAMP 2020!
    Parents and HS youth are encouraged to attend this meeting!

 

  • Steubenville Conference  (July 17-19, 2020) at Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH. Bishop O’Connell HS and nearby parishes will be joining us next year.
    We will be traveling by bus.
    Registration opens in January 2020…THE EARLIER YOU REGISTER, THE BETTER PRICE  YOU WILL PAY!

  • Ski Trip for all Jr. high and High school youth on February 17th ( President’s Day), 2020. Registration is first come-first served and opens up January 31st!

 

 

  • YOUth & Family Mass on the first Sunday* of every month during the school year (October thru June)* ; YOU have to be part of it! The dinner & activity/event following the 6 pm Mass is open to all Jr. high & High school youth and their families!
    *There are two dates this year, where this Youth & Family Mass will be on the SECOND SUNDAY instead of the FIRST…
    THEY ARE: Sunday, February 9 and June 14

 

Diocesan Events include:

  • High School RALLY ( third Sunday in October at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington…Sunday, October 20th)

  • Diocesan Pilgrimage to Italy (July 25 – August 1. 2020) ; click on pilgrimage for more information.

 

  • World Youth Day 2022 in Portugal! Click on the WYD words for more information.

 

  • Kings Dominion Day – July 24, 2020. Permission slips available beginning July 5…

 

Some SUMMER Events include Lasertag, Bowling, Rebounderz, Movies, Ice Cream “Sundaes” etc. AND National/Orioles Baseball games, Cedar Point, Rafting, Beach outings and more…beginning after Workcamp!

  •  9:15 am Mass & Breakfast SUMMER Tuesdays (July 2020); every Tuesday in July we attend the 9:15 am parish Mass as a group and afterwards, head off to a local eatery like (Panera, Duck Donuts, Amphora etc) to have some breakfast. Kevin offers 1 FREE breakfast each week by correctly guessing a trivia question based on the readings at that Mass.
