Middle School Youth Ministry

(We are waiting for any update from the Diocese on Covide 19 protocol. Until an update is given, the information below is to be followed)

  • For those fully vaccinated/boostered, no mask is required, yet if you prefer to wear one you may. For those not yet fully vaccinated, wearing a mask is encouraged.
  • As of September 2021, the Diocese has now required that all youth and volunteers involved in any youth event or activity, download and sign a YOUTH MINISTRY COVID WAIVER form (click on link) thru August 2022. This form only needs to completed and signed once* per year. This is a different form from the one ST. MARK Catholic School uses.
*If you have already registered for Religious Education, a CYO Sport (like Basketball or Tennis) or attended the Middle School Kickoff or prior MS event, then you are set. A COVID waiver should be on our master list and on file.
*If you haven’t registered for any of these items, you must have YOUR PARENT sign one before the next event or activity!
  • Parents and their youth will be responsible for following the protocol regularly including checking for COVID symptoms. Please turn this signed form into the Youth Office, where it will kept on file.

Welcome to ST. MARK Middle School Ministry! This dynamic ministry is open to all teens in 6th and 8th grades. Click on a slide to find out more about the event!

  • Middle School FRIDAY NIGHT Youth Group (during the school year 6:30 - 8 pm) Check website for calendar dates.
At ST. MARK Middle School Ministry, we strive to grow in faith, hope, and love through knowledge of Jesus Christ. In a post-pandemic world, we will continue to build strong friendships and healthy community through our programs, activities, and the Good News. Whether we are volunteering at a homeless shelter, breaking open the Bible, taking a trip to Kings Dominion, or just hanging out on a Friday night, we have something for everyone. Check out our calendar and see what we’re about!

For your safety and your youth’s safety, for all ST. MARK Middle School events taking place ON ST. MARK grounds, please fill out the 2022/2023 Middle School Registration Form and turn it into the Youth/RE office. If there is an emergency or your youth needs emergency care, we will have your contact information and permission for treating them.

A separate permission form will be available for ANY EVENT OFF ST. MARK GROUNDS. This is usually available to download a couple weeks before the event on this website under Forms.

The information on this registration form will be kept confidential but used for our mailing list (via Constant Contact weekly newsletters).

(For more information, click on event title to be transferred directly to the webpage.)

The annual theme this year is DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME from 1 Corinthians 11:23-25
For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” – 1 Corinthians 11: 23-25
